My name is Corkey, together with my dad and mom we are Corkey's Inc. The business was started in 1941 by my grandfather, and taken over by my father, Jerry, in 2006. Before working here, Jerry spent over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. My mom's name is Sharon and she only works part-time. The rest of her day is filled with taking care of my 89 brothers and sisters ;)
The firm has two office locations—one is in Chicago, IL and the other is in Bingen Am Rhein, Germany. The Chicago office opens January 10 and closes May 1st. each year. When the Chicago office is open our goal is to answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call you always get Jerry—we don't believe in using an answering service. When our Chicago office is closed, our phone number is answered in Germany from 8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday Chicago Time.
